Renovating the studio: part 4
Today was a slow day, with the shutters for the foundation getting fixed in place, the damp-proofing sheet being laid down, and the insulation for the floor. Concrete truck should arrive tomorrow to do the pour, and then it’ll be home time for Michael and Sid.

The house still isn’t finished, but I’ve checked with the painter and he’s happy to work around the bed in the master bedroom. Thus, bed assembly!

It’s a kitchen!
The kitchen has been installed, bar two doors – one for the dry goods cupboard (at least, that’s the current intent for it), and the fridge. The install took two days, with the main run going in on Monday, and the “dry” wall units going in on Tuesday. The fitter was a fairly tidy worker,…
