Today was the day for the concrete pour, and that’s precisely what happened – once the truck showed up somewhere just before 11 am. Wheelbarrows were the order of the day, and the whole floor was poured in short order, then leveled and smoothed. Michael and Sid have washed the site down, tidied up, and gone home – nothing for them to do until Monday when the slab has cured enough to walk on (which means a local cat is bound to walk across it soon).
