A leaky battery – cleaned

Went back today armed with more baking soda, and found that the overnight soak had actually neutralised most of the acid. There was a bit of fizz on a piece of wood that forms a brace point under one of the panels, and with that neutralised and rinsed, I just had to dispose of the liquid and wipe the whole area dry. I’ve left a small desktop USB fan blowing into the compartment, plugged in to the house battery – the Titan app estimates I’ve got at least 300 hours of runtime, and there’s a Node-RED setup running on the Cerbo GX that automates charging from the MPPT, so it won’t drain the battery even if I left it running for a month.
