Pandemic baking

With Ireland going into “don’t go anywhere” mode, and the supermarket shelves bare of flour, I went online looking for flour so that I can bake my own bread. Found a nice site, Kells, and picked up 10 kg of soda bread mix, and 12.5 kg of basic white flour. Should keep me going for a while; each soda bread requires 500g of the mix.

Already delivered a loaf to the neighbours on either side of me; both are over 70, and thus cocooned based on the government advice. In return, I’ve received some blueberry muffins made with buttermilk that were absolutely delicious.
