Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire

In late April, with the help of two other DMYC members, I moved Blue Opal from Conwy to Dun Laoghaire. I opted to stop in Holyhead on the way (on the good advice of Con), since it made for a shorter day on both days. It also enabled us to find the lovely oil in the bilge, which turned out to be clean oil from a punctured can, not oil from the engine.

This video shows the track we took to make the crossing. We could potentially have let the tide carry us more north/south and made better speed, but we were unsure of the boat, and thus being closer to the ferry route made more sense.
