Whilst Dad was visiting, we put his portable oscilloscope across the two terminals on the back of the tachometer, and found a very nice mV signal that changes frequency with engine revolutions. Finding the right cable size for the water pump

Slightly floored
The three bedrooms upstairs have had their laminate flooring installed. Next up, skirting and architraves, and the laminate for the kitchen and living room, plus the carpet on the stairs and landings. Getting closer!
