The second leathercraft workshop was held today at work. On the menu – simple wallets. I opted for a card-holder style wallet, but with only a single card-pull; the template shown below was only applied to the thinner piece of leather, while the thicker piece was left as a rectangle. Used a groover to outline one side, and also provide a channel for the stitching to sit in. Saddle stitched with pink waxed polyester thread, for a nice bit of contrast. A bit of water and rubbing on the edges to slick them and presto, one card wallet.
