		<description>Well, I worked it out in the end.  A bit of fiddling in QT Designer to get the widget set to MinimumExpanding sizepolicy, specifying the minimum dimensions needed, removing the toString calls and making the dcop.call use QString, and presto, a little application that grabs my roster list, and lets me send a message instantly.  See the linked directory for the -working versions.

Now to make it an applet target type thing, which I think is beyond me...</description>
